Long Time Coming!!

Sorry I've been neglecting this page. I'm surprised to see that I have close to 600 views. I'm honored that people actually took out the time to read my writings. So much has been going on in my life!! I've been feeling like I'm missing something in my life for a long time now. I thought it was depression but honestly every woman goes through it. I wanted a family!! I'm 28 years old with a stable job that I plan to keep as well as apply myself for promotions. I've been in a steady serious relationship for almost two years with a wonderful man that loves children so why not have a child??!! We talked about marriage first and what we wanted if we had children. We both agreed that we wanted to be married be before children and that we wanted twins - a boy and a girl. Four months ago we found out that we were expecting!! We're having twins!! I'm excited!! I'm finally going to be someones mommy!! WOW!!! This is truly a blessing! I felt guilty at first because I'm not married but screw it, we got what we wanted this is truly a gift and I am so blessed as well as happy to receive it!!

Airport Travels

If you're flying out of the airport any time soon. I beg you to get there 2-3 hours early. Spring break is here!! Although the government tells you the economy is bad & most people are unemployed, there are thousands on top of thousands flying out each day. Take the extra time getting to the airport early so you won't miss your flight because if you do you'll pay the difference trying to get on another one - STANDBY. We all know what STANDBY means, it means you're not guaranteed a spot on the flight.

Flash mobs suck

On my way home last night from work I saw these teenagers in action. For any of my chicago peeps it began at the garfield green line stop, carried over to my bus stop on 56th & king drive and they continued to run southbound on king drive. I carry a weapon with me wherever I go so my hand was in my pocket the whole time. I was anticipating the worst but a man joins me at the bus stop & informed me that they just attacked someone on the train taking their I phone. I don't know how an Iphone can be split amongst 40+ teenagers.  It's sad to say that these teens are our future. If only they could use their mob for something positive.
